Music is a great way to help you relax, unwind and focus. And with the constant flow of playlists, it can be hard to find something new that will work for your mood! We’ve found a great way that will help you create, shuffle and replay playlists for your mood.

What is a playlist?

A playlist can be created to contain a list of songs that you want to hear. The playlist allows you to control the songs that play and their order.

Let’s learn how to create a playlist quickly and easily. We’ll start by creating one from scratch so you can see what options are available.

Creating a Playlist

  • First, go to the Music App on iOS or Google Play Music app on Android.
  • Next, select “Starred” if available (iOS) under the Library tab.
  • You will now be on the list of songs. To add a song, just swipe up or down over it to select it for your new playlist, then click done in the top-right corner when finished adding all desired tracks. You can also remove any unwanted ones using this method too!

Once finished, simply go back into edit mode again if needed and begin arranging them however you please within each group – either moving them around via dragging and dropping them onto other titles or tapping “Reorder” in the top-left corner. Lastly, when done, simply click “Save & Exit” at the bottom of your screen!

Shuffle and replay your playlist

Next, we’ll learn how to shuffle and replay all songs within a playlist after creating one. To get started, you will need to pick an individual song. Select it either by tapping it within a playlist or from its list page; this can also be achieved via searching for it instead if preferred. Now let’s start with shuffling our music using this method: tap that popular button, then select any combination of options (e.g., Shuffle All).

Next, go ahead and play them back once they’ve finished randomly arranging themselves by clicking “Play,” located next to each title. To replay them, simply tap the circular icon on the bottom-left corner.

Editing a playlist

Great! We’ve just learned how to create a playlist, shuffle and replay songs within it. Now let’s learn about some ways to edit them: To do so, you first need to be on the list of playlists from either your profile or by selecting “Playlist” from the menu at the bottom-right corner of any page. This will bring up all available ones listed alphabetically as well as those already created too.

Once selected, simply tap an individual one and then choose “Edit Playlist.” This brings you directly into its editing mode, with everything we spoke about above now accessible via clicking anywhere on each title for further options (e.g., delete). Once finished, simply click “Save & Exit” below.

Creating a playlist from an existing one

Lastly, we’ll go over how to create a new playlist from one already existing: first, open up your desired playlists and select “More” in the top-right corner of its page.

Then, scroll down your screen until you see an option called “Export Playlist As…” and click it; this will allow you to name and save your selection as something else if needed but for now, let’s continue by selecting Save instead, which is located at the bottom of that screen.

Now find where they’re saved (the default location should be iHeartRadio), then click on its title once found – this will automatically import it back into our app!

Once finished, you should see its name appear back in your list of playlists followed by a “New Playlist” option – click it, then use the process from above to edit and save anything you need, which will automatically create another one; upon doing so!

That’s all for now regarding how to create, shuffle and replay playlists.
